Prior to founding Cannan Consulting, Jim Cannan successfully delivered a wide variety of customer relationship management, call center management, knowledgebase, enrollment, billing and business intelligence applications to the Healthcare, Financial Services and Telecommunications industries. Cannan has helped companies transform business processes through creation and adoption of Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer internet portals as well as internal corporate collaborative portals.

Previously, Jim Cannan served as Fidelity’s Senior Vice President of Product Development for the TouchPoint Channels and Integrations products, directly responsible for product management, design and construction of a flagship product suite including Sales, Service, Teller, Profitability, Internet Banking, Business Intelligence, and Service Oriented Architecture components.

Prior to joining Fidelity, Jim made critical contributions to advance the technical capabilities of Humana Healthcare, including leading comprehensive internet development to support a digital health plan, creating a single customer care portal to service membership across product lines, developing an internet enrollment solution for customers and members, and deploying a first-in-industry cross-platform electronic bill presentment and payment solution.

Jim laid the foundation for his industry accomplishments working through various consulting roles at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), leading to his position as Senior Technology Manager, specializing in product development of very large multi-user systems.
